Next, I was back at the Suwannee River with Ray Glave. We rented a canoe and the rental place dropped us off six miles up the river. We spent the day checking out the many exposed islands looking for fossils. We also paid another visit to Biscuit Island. |

The following day, Ray and I dove the Santa Fe River again.

Fossil knee bone, unknown species.
Fossil toe bones, possibly armadillo.
Bull shark tooth.

I brought back some awesome football size geodes that I am cleaning, they are completely hollow. I will post pics of them cleaned up after they are cut. I am also putting the finishing touches on a new dive boat built just for the Florida rivers, be back soon to hunt some more! I want to thank Pat, Ray, Jeri, Dave, Shelly and Marge for showing me some of their favorite sites. I had a great time and came home with some great specimens. |
