Big display of fern and fig fossils from the Mazon Creek site. This is a nice collection that was put together in the 1930's by Ken Kytes father Ken Kyte Sr. When I received this collection it was mounted in this display box with hand written labels that were turning to dust, so I reprinted all the labels word for word and remounted them, some of them tell if he used "india ink" to touch up some of the pieces. This is a very nice collection and I think it should be sold together. The case needs a new piece of glass.
