Two shots of my favorite malachite specimen (un cleaned) from the Union Copper Mine.

Since I hunt a lot of fossils, I did notice this large toe bone from some type of animal in the area.

Shot of a large specimen of malachite coating on host rock, given to me by a MAGMA member (Bill)

One of my favorite pieces is this host rock with manganese penetrating into it. The manganese rock has trace amounts of gold and copper according to Jeff Pickett.

Quartz host rock with chalcopyrite, pyrite and trace amounts of copper and gold.

This large manganese and quartz specimen is one of my favorite pieces. Is has very cool bending and folding along with thick clusters of pyrite, bornite and trace amounts of gold and copper. You can see the different colors in the metals when you look at the rock. I have several smaller pieces off of this rock as well.

Pyrite, gold and copper in manganese. Look for the different colors to distinguish between the different metals.

Cleaning some of my specimens with Iron Out and HCL. I will add a couple more pages of pyrite, gold, bornite, copper specimens when these finish soaking in water.

Stay tuned!
