MAGMA Land of the Sky Gem Show
Photos by: Richard Jacquot
Another great show at our new venue in Swannanoa, NC. Despite reports of bad weather, we had a good turnout and show. We had all our regular vendors return and several new vendors set up to offer some awesome deals and nice specimens.
Follow the signs to the greatest gem show in Western North Carolina!
Getting set up.
My educational display was on concretions, conglomerates and cave formations. The featured piece was the big boulder opal from Queensland, Australia. It did not show up well in the photos so I included an extra pic for a better view. A lot of people enjoyed the display and went home with some nice specimens I had for sale.
