It was cold and rainy and it even snowed a bit Saturday morning. We built a makeshift cover to keep the rain off our fire pit.

While I was running the machine, I flipped this monster boulder over to find emeralds covering the bottom side. The members began to dismantle it with a 20 pound sledge hammer provided by Tony.

Following are some of the finds made by Mitch, Tony and me. I haven't got pics from the other members yet.

There was a lot of nice material found. Everything I found was just laying on the dumps. The Crabtree will continue to produce emeralds for many years to come. It was great to see everyone at the dig!
