Fieldtrip Report:

Diamond Hill Quartz Mine,
Antreville, S.C.,
March 5th and 6th, 2005

Eric, Steven and Ryan, Eric and Ryan were on their first M.A.G.M.A. trip.

Before long the parking area began to fill up, it looked more like a rockhound convention than a club fieldtrip.

There was a lot of amethyst found and this is a nice large specimen that was collected by Andrea, she also collected the below pictured specimen:

Soon lunchtime came and our members Jerry and Tena cooked some great food for us all, Jerry manned the grill, Tena had brought two of her famous deserts, we owe a big thank you to them both for the excellent lunch. Thank you Jerry and Tena!!!
