Throughout the day, many nice finds were made, I tried to take a lot of pics when I wasn't poking around the mine for specimens.

Bob Taylor found this beautiful dark purple crystal.

Steve and Thomas Davis were working the skeletal pit pretty hard all day, they had pulled out some nice specimens, at the end of the day, Steve hit a good spot and told us we could dig it since he was heading home, Thomas and I jumped in the hole and dug for about an hour without much luck, just as we were about to give up we found this nice sleletal plate:
Here it looks like a 60 pound mud ball......
Here is a shot of it hosed off at home.
Another member, Jay Gaylord had been collecting some very nice pieces, he brought back some pieces that he had cleaned.
