and More!,
December 23-25, 2005
Christmas 2005

More JXR amethyst.

And more..... (and no, I did not make the amethyst darker in this pic)

And more !

Finally I couldn't take it anymore, I had to leave before I went into crystal overload! 8^), we thanked Dave for his hospitality and the crystal gifts he had bestowed upon us, and headed for Diamond Hill. We arrived that afternoon and set up camp. A roaring fire, food and drink finished off the evening as we prepared for the following day of digging.

We awoke bright and early Saturday morning to a brisk 17 degrees, Thomas Davis was the first to arrive for the days dig, then John D. and Colorado joined us.

Thomas loading some specimens.

Skeletal specimen found by John D.

Colorado

Colorado dug with us in the smoky vein for a while, he had also been pounding on some boulders when he popped out this nice pseudomorph specimen, he then gave it to me to display in the M.A.G.M.A. Museum collection, thanks Colorado!

What a great Christmas weekend, can't wait till next year !
