also hit it big with a couple of very nice clusters.
Sunday produced even more specimens. This father and son team unearthed this big matrix specimen early and headed back for more.
We located a big boulder that someone else had quit working on. I told Ron Ahle about it and he attacked the rock with a sledge and chisels to remove some nice cacoxenite specimens.
Ray Glave got home and cleaned some of his pieces. He sent me the above pics of the cleaned crystals. It looks like he did well.
The entire club did well on this trip. We thought that the dig back in April was fantastic, but many of the members told me they think this one was even better. After seeing so many great finds, they might be right. I can't wait till the next one!
