Diamond Hill Quartz Prospect
Machine and M.A.G.M.A. Club Dig!
April, 2009

Every inch of the pit was explored by members in search of the crystal veins, many of them were found.

Keith "should I dig over here? or over there?"

Ray working a small vein.

Pete and his family found the largest specimen of the dig. This is a 500 pound crystal cluster specimen covered with large crystals.

The happy diggers.

Another cool find was made by Ron Ahle. We have been looking for beryl at the site for years. This may be a section of a beryl crystal that was found near the skeletal pit. Ron is going to check to see if it is indeed beryl and will let us know.
