More specimen pictures:
The following piece is quite interesting, (Steve Barr may recognize this piece) it is small, about 4" diameter, it is a "cookie" or rosette of pale smoky double terminated crystals, what is neat about this piece, is that it is a floater, there are no contact points anywhere on the piece, it is formed completely of large double terminated crystals around the outside edges and the top, the bottom is very small crystals, the crystals are severely etched and corroded and there is a yellow stain on some that will not come off, something different:
I also cleaned up a couple of the 1" double terminated crystals I found when digging with Dave Smith, we had hit a pocket of sticky white clay while looking for the big plates, we pulled out a couple dozen of these small 1-2" double terminated crystals, here are two of them:
Here are a couple of shots of a piece with inclusions:
I noticed the yellow inclusions in the above specimen, when I look straight down on the crystal, it appears that there are six different inclusions oriented in the crystal, or is it one inclusion that is being refracted by the light to appear as six?
