Another neat thumbnail specimen found by Austin.

I have not been to Glendon is several years. This was the best trip I have been on to this site. It seems like everyone found great material. The mine managers were very pleased with how organized our group was and we were out of the mine at 2:58. It was a perfect trip that ran extremely smoothly. We are already planning a trip for the fall of 2010, I will announce the details for that dig next spring.

I want to give a big thanks to Lee Fleming and Austin Barr for helping with the field trip and keeping things running smooth in the pit.

And a big thank you goes out to Cody, Chris and Jim Faile with RT Vanderbilt Company for allowing us to collect at their mine.

And lastly, I want to thank the MAGMA members who attended this dig. Everyone followed the rules and there were absolutely no problems at all. This was a great example of how MAGMA members conduct themselves at a mine and the reason we are invited back to collect at mines time and time again, thanks everyone!
