          Glendon Pyrite!

        As the day progressed, people began to  slowly come out of the pit with their material. Several people looked as if  they had overloaded themselves; but they had a huge smile on their faces.  The following show some of these happy  people: 
        
        
        
        
        
        
        
        As people would come by our tent, I  would occasionally take pictures of their finds.  The following pictures show some of the  material that was collected: 
        
        The  Fall 2010 Glendon pyrite dig turned out be a wonderful adventure. Everyone had  a chance to find and collect as much pyrite as they wanted from the recently  blasted pit floor. It was very dry and no one needed to wear their rubber boots.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank Cody, the mine representative  for all of his help and assistance. I know it must be a great aggravation to  the mine to have 117 people visit their site; but we are so glad they do. As  for our MAGMA members, they were very polite and assisted others when needed.  Thanks everyone for making this a very enjoyable day in the pyrite capitol of  the world.
