Another awesome weekend at Graves Mountain has come and gone. As always I got to see many old friends and make many new ones. If you have never been to the Open House at Graves, you are missing out!

Lots of vendors were set up selling many nice specimens from Graves and all over the world.

Melissa and Junior

Melissa showing off a ring we made for her. I got the setting from an old collection a couple of weeks ago. The stone is lazulite collected and cut by Bill Mintz. Jim set the stone and gave it a final polish.

Iridescent coated quartz crystals.

Big hunk of iridescent hematite that Jon Lee collected.

Layla "gimmie another burger!"

Rutile negative crystal, pic by James.

A Graves junior rockhound with her first find.

Dave after digging, I think he looks like Einstein after an experiment gone wrong...

John D. holding the 363 carat "Smokin John D" that he dug in Greenwood, SC.

To top the show off, Junior arranged to have an air show put on by a friend. It was great!

As always, a big thank you goes out to Junior and all those that make this show possible. I know the MAGMA club looks forward to it every spring and fall.

See you in April!
