Once again, Jr. Norman and family have hosted another fantastic weekend at Graves Mountain in Lincoln Co. Georgia. Ron Seaver and I started our weekend Thursday morning at the mine setting up the M.A.G.M.A. booth and unloading a ton of rocks to sell and trade. We were joined a couple of hours later by Nancy. She was there to inspect the booth and display case that her big crystal was going to be in for security reasons. After spending a few hours at the mine and talking with Jr, we headed to the Elijah Clark park to setup camp. We had the perfect location at the park. We reserved all the sites on a point at the end of the road, so we had the area to ourselves.

Nancy spent the afternoon fishing, while Ron and I sat in the shade feeding the birds and squirrels.

Soon it was time for dinner and the feast was on!

We were joined later that evening by GeodePat and Gene Jeffers. The next morning we were up bright and early and headed to the mine to arrive about 8:00.

We had our M.A.G.M.A. booth set up next to Jr's cooking tent.

Throughout the day we met with old friends and new. Overall I counted around 85 M.A.G.M.A. members at the mine, a great turnout! Charlie and Greg Padgett were there selling quality specimens from Graves.
