Despite fears that less than ideal weather forecasts would deter people from participating in this year’s Marion dig, 30+ people showed up, paid up, and signed required paperwork for a Ben E. Clement Mineral Museum field trip. Upon arriving at the Eureka Mine diggers quickly fanned out over the new material piles.
