Jerry had done well in Steves hole and Tena even decided to dig for rocks instead of beg for them, she did well also, I took Jerry up to a spot I had been in last week and he hit the good stuff in just a few minutes.

Matrix specimen Jerry found peppered with 13 beryl crystals.

Another Jerry beryl specimen.

More beryl found by Jerry.

Beryl in matrix found by Jerry.

Gerald Reel and his Son were also digging in the same area and had found some real nice beryl crystals in matrix:

The Reels beryl.

Richard Pannell

Robert having fun.

Steven and friend.

Our member David had found a huge boulder with a small beryl showing, he took the time to trim down the specimen and found a nice suprise inside.

A nice dark blue gemmy aquamarine in matrix found by David.

Closeup of Davids crystal, it is just over an inch long and about 3/4" wide, the top is clear dark blue facet grade material.

Tena was in a generous mood after finding so many crystals by digging herself, she even gave away a nice beryl to John D's daughter Diane. For those who think there is no more material to be found in the creek, you're wrong, you just need to dig in the right spot!

See you all next weekend at Ladds.
