To keep cool while digging, many of the members used pop up tents to shade themselves from the sun.

Many members took advantage of the $5.00 off entry fee for bringing canned food.

This new site is going to continue to get better and better as we open new areas to collecting. It continues to produce both big and very nice facet grade crystals. We will be doing more work at the site this winter to make it even better and I will let the club know as soon as we get another date set for a club dig.

Thanks again to Steve Peterman and his family for allowing us to collect on his property and to Junior for arranging the digs. Hopefully this will be a great collecting site for years to come!
